Monster Massive Or Love Parade?

Since everyone knows im from hawaii and i checked out the list for Monster massive this year and it should be one hell of a party. i actually would fly out for the week end just to see the big three names in djs spin.
So the question is, Fly our for Monster Massive or for Love Parade?
Also anyone know cheap / good hotels around the LA Sports arena to stay?

what up integ!?...yo that monster massive lineup is nuts!, there hasnt really been an announcement for the lineup at love parade. Hopefully since its their first year in north america they would come in with an insane lineup, even though they're not gonna have PVD. The venue for monster massive is not the greatest and also your gonna see a lot of kiddies, but it, its all about the music!...and especially if u havent seen PVD live!!

| Well even without the line up in the loveparade i do plan to go to both. The first time in the US should be dope. That lineup in the Monster Massive is DOPE!! even if there are going to tons of kiddie, I'm sure there will be alot of older crowd as well.. i mean it's a huge lineup! |

| i'm gonna have to agree and say that monster massive is one insane lineup. so i would go to that....but then again i live here so i'm prolly gonna go to both! btw anyone know where in SF the love parade is gonna be? |

I was reading its gonna be in the newly constructed embaradero district. |

If all plans go well. I might be able to fly up to Cali for Monster Massive...

if you rent a car nothing is far away. at nite you can get anywhere in about 1/2 hour. I would suggest getting a room near the beach. In Hermosa Beach there's a place for about $65 per nite. In CA that's actually pretty cheap. LA sports arena is in downtown LA i don't that cheap will be the right words. decent prices might better.

For the nearest hotel from the event, there is a Radison Hotel across the street from the USC campus on Figueroa Street. It's about a 5 minute walking distance to the event.
You won't have to worry about traffic or how to get back to your hotel after the party. I'm not to sure about the cost, but check out this site for more info.

As for the Monster Massive vs. Love Parade match-up, it all depends on you. If you like raves and enjoy a Holloween-type atmosphere, then Monster Massive is for you. They already offer a great line-up.
Love Parade on the other hand, is something I have never experienced. I'm guessing a parade through the city having 100,000+ peeps dancing on the streets while floats consisting of highly talented dj's from all over the world flow right by the crowd. I feel that it is something every tranceaddict should experience once in their life.
I myself would pick Love Parade because it is something that I have never experienced before. Monster Massive is an event that I have attended the last 3 out of 4 years. I usually have a better time if I attend an event that I have never attended before. If you haven't attended to either one of these events, then I guess you can't go wrong either way. |
