this just happened.
using "advanced server 2000" how can we see which students are using which programs? |
cant
you can monitor network usage... but you need powerful servers to monitor that sorta |

I saw my mate do it a while back when some students were using some games in one of the computer pods
btw, when am I able to switch system restore back on? |
|
|
| -=M=- |
| you can use keystroke logs to do it, but nothing that comes with server 2000 has any software to do it |

I just switched system restore off and deleted the games but they came straight back anyway.

do your systems synchronize with a server on the network or do they boot from a system image at all? i've seen that done before |
|
|
| meneedit |
they don't synchronize but they have sherrif cards.
that doesnt matter though, because I saw the games reappear 5 seconds after deletion. |

isnt that the purpose of the sherrif system?
or does that only boot off the image when you restart? |
|
|
| meneedit |
