and no smoking pariphenalia on your desk makes you one step cleaner than mine... |

| Nope. I've seen plenty messier. Just wait until pop cans the only things on it aside from the computer stuff; that's when it's time to be cleaned. |

but when i grab a beer, or get a coffee, what ever, i always have to spend about 3 mins everytime i want to drink some of it cause i have to find where i put it. :( |

Yep. There was a time where I had at least 15 pop cans, and various bottles of water and energy drinks, plus CDs and various stuff. I managed to push the blankets and junk on my floor just enough so there was room for drinks on the floor next to me.
I cleaned it up the next day. |

Hey,
As long as you know where everything is, its ORGANIZED!
We should start a thread as to Excuses for Having such a Messy Desk.
Here is my take:
This mess could symbolize some sort of a rebellion against the oppression. Tell people that it is a non-violent political protest/demonstration against ........-ism. It is clear that you will continue to fight your battle and the clean desk will only show your submission/wussy_side.
Result:You've made yourself almost as great as Gandhi by having a messy desk. |
