| Hey guys, thanks for all of your input, I´m psiweaver´s friend that will be in Ibiza in 2 days. I was getting a bit paranoid, but now I don´t think it will really be a problem. Thanks again. |

It doesnt matter what age you are in Ibiza, the drinking age is 16 anyway.. |
That's false! In Spain (Ibiza included) the legal age to buy and drink alcohol is 18. Other thing is if they ask you for your ID. |

I was under the impression that you have to be 21 to get into most of the "good" clubs in Ibiza? (Space, Amnesia, etc.) I could be wrong... but I think that's the case. |
hah you obviously don't know much about europe, I don't think I've heard of a 21 and up anything in europe, Really like to know where the american twats came up with that, 16 years old is a perfect drinking age, by that time half the ing kids in the states drink regularly anyway |

I remember talking about the drinking thing with my French teacher ages ago (yes, that's France but most of Europe's quite the same.) She said that officialy the age is 18, but most bars/clubs will serve people who look 16 because they couldn't care less, it's just the culture there.
Don't believe me 100% though, I've not been to Ibiza so you're probably better off listening to the other guys. Especialy considering this thread wasn't even originally about drinking, I think I just picked that up from someone's post... d'oh :p |

yeah that is. I remember in Spain just three or four years ago that the legal age for buying alcohol and cigarrettes was 16, but now is 18 so exists the culture or whatever you want to say to this to don't care about the age in the majority of clubs. @ supermarkets normally they ask for your ID.
Also I've seen many clubs here that allow the entry to +16, some clubs serve alcohol without caring the age and others put a distinctive at the door deppends if you are +18 or +16 and then the waiters/waitresses know if they can serve alcohol to you. But it's a bit stupid cause if you are 16 you can say to another +18 clubber to buy the drink for you. |

I would imagine you will be fine getting into Amnesia,Eden or Privelege but I reckon there is more chance of you getting a BJ from the Pope than getting into Pacha, El Divino & maybe Space |
Is that true? Why these clubs and not the others? |
