Ok. I just woke up from a dream in which I was watching Zoobilee Zoo on TV. I have no idea why the ... but all I can think about, now, is how much this show used to freak me out when I was a kid. The theme song, alone, was enough to send chills up my spine.
Please tell me that some of you have seen this, before. I would think that most of the actors are either in retirement homes or dead by now, but , they still have a website! (The show was on 18 years ago. WTF.) It was apparently shown on TV for 15 years, although there were only 65 episodes ever recorded. It is currently not shown on any networks.
God. I'm not going to be able to sleep, now. |

My God, man! Zoobilee Zoo was my lifeblood as a child. And so few seem to remember it.
Okay, so it was a little trippy. :) |

The fact that you guys remember this makes me laugh. I didn't think anyone would. It used to be on at 7:30AM here every morning. (From the time I was 3 years old until about first grade.)
For those who remember it, what about:
- Mr. Dress-Up
- Free Penner's Place
- Fraggle Rock
OMFG. Time warp!!~ |

Oh lord. Everyone I tell about Mr. Dressup (even ppl who lived near me) accuse me of being crazy. He was excellent!
I do believe you mean "Fred" Penner's place. In retrospect, he had some terrible songs. But still a joy to watch at that age.
And Fraggle Rock was clearly the bomb. Did you watch Muppet Babies too?
But I must admit, Square One (and 3-2-1 Contact) was where it was at. From the Mathnet show on Square One, I learned the Fibonacci Sequence, exponentiation, and oh-so-much more stuff that 4 year olds shouldn't have to learn ;) |

i remember all of the above! omg! i actually had a bizarre homosexual crush on wazzat kangaroo:haha:
fred penner's place rocked! didn't he have some crazy route to get to his "place" where he ended up jumping through a log or something? and his best friend was a frog?? it's all kinda fuzzy to me.
does anyone remember "today's special"?
one of the main characters was a mannequin that would come to life at night. |
