| Ya I think the n64 did hold them back.. but I think by the end of this year and starting next year.. nintendo will be back in action.. I can't wait for the new cube games to come out. I friggin want to play that KONGA beat game.. that looks so fun. I haven't had a game like that since they stopped selling those guns. I wish I played thoe sama di amigo ones but I can't find the maracas anywhere. I have the game but no maracas lol. |

the N64 was and is the worst piece of crap machine ever invented...64-bit pushing the MOST 150,000 polygons per second..
the Sega Saturn Pushed 200,000 and PSX 350,000....the textures was muddy and most games had 6 foot of fog... |

I don't really get this.. bits don't matter now. It's all about "gameplay" if you have a gameboy, thats not even 16 bit graphics.. Thats all 8bit.. and your all complaining about how muddy the textures look. When will people learn that bits don't matter. Heck you can come out with the most powerful machine, but without gameplay and just good graphics you got a dud.
And besides this is handheld we are talkign about, not consoles. There is a big difference.
The nintendo DS is a little over the 64bit mark, but it has duel processors so the DS performs all games at 60fps aside from the n64's 30 fps. |
