Who leaves their trunk open at night anyway?

So i was walking down the street last night when i noticed that the trunk of a car parked in one of the driveways was wide open! Unable to resist the urge to have a look, i walked up to it and discovered a mountain bike inside. After an intense (two-and-a-half-second) struggle with my morals, i was cruising along the street on my new bike! Later that night, a police cruiser caught up with me and one of the cops proceeded to inform me that they're looking for a 'bad guy on a stolen bike' and asked me if i was a 'bad guy.' Naturally, i told him that a 'bad guy on a stolen bike' just passed me going in the other direction, which resulted in him turning on the sirens and speeding off. I actually happened to run into him again at a Tim Hortons later that night. He frowned and told me that it was cruel of me to send them to a dead-end street, then complimented me on my new bike and left with four boxes of Timbits. What do you guys make of all this?

So true. Not only is he being an idiot, but hes being pretty disprespectful. To take something that somebody just went through and make a joke of it, pretty f*ckin lame if you ask me.

And yet if the day after, someone were to post pretending they had stolen my car, i would have laughed my ing ass off, just as i have at the countless jokes which were made about the incident. So instead of sitting there and frowning, i suggest you take this as a silly joke that it is.
