I was wondering how AG finds song.
heres the question, i put some songs in my shared folders... how come when i do (or friends do) a search on the website for those songs it doesnt appear? |

i think ag renames the files that it finds
i don't know if it checks the acutal file name or the id3...i guess file name 'cos some files don't have id3 :p:p:p
but also Izzy, how soon did u search?
maybe if u quit satellite & restart, then wait 10min, it will find them because it must send a list of shared files to the ag servers & also it takes a few minutes before songs added to ur list download
anyway, just my guess... |

| There are different servers. See your satelite for it. If you are on different servers it won't find it think |

| it reads the id3 for the name of the tune.. and it works exactly like napster used to... u have to be on the same AG server :) |
