I'm 18 and had a wreck a while back that was my fault. I'm guessing insurance companies don't like 18 year old high risk drivers to have a car with 300 hp. |

| well i agree. i'm just saying that upgrading the model like that shouldn't make that huge a difference...maybe 200-300 bucks every six months at most, but not an extra 1000! |

im afraid to ask.. but how much did u pay for this american "sports car" |
Prices haven't been released yet. The dealer made me put 500 down and I'm putting it in my dad's name because his company has Ford's X-Plan which lets us pay 2% over dealer invoice. It'll probably come out to about 21 or 22k. And btw, the V6 Mustang is far from a sports car. The GT, however, is. |

| Oh, and if I want to drive a fast car I'll just take my dad's heavily modified '86 Trans Am for a spin. And no, we aren't rednecks. It's actually nice and maintained. |

| I needed a larger car. I definitely don't want a two-seater. I know because one of my options was a 2003 MR-2 with just 5000 miles on it. I still picked the Mustang because it has more space. |

i know how they rate differently...i'm just saying that the extra surcharge you would get because its a GT shouldn't be 1000 every six months... |
