I was going to put this in the Canadian forums, but I'd like to see other people's opinions on this.

You know what...its amazing how fast Americans like to get involved when someone else has a problem. And usually they only get involved when there is something in it for them. Yet, when the citizens of Canada, the US' closest ally and trading partner decide to express thier concern and beliefs about the current state of the US, you get all offended and defensive. If you don't want people expressing thier concern, fine. Then I hope that means you DON'T support the US' meddling with other countries. Did you ever think that those actions might offend them?? Did you ever stop and think how offended Canadians are when we are laughed at by American politicians, officials, and American media, which in turn, causes US citizens to mock us aswell? The biggest insult of all is people's lack of acknowledgement that we're concerned and are rooting for you guys to get yourself back on your feet by finding a better leader. Afterall, we Canadians are the ones that have to put up with your . |

I think you need a huge ing lesson in economics. You have absolutely no idea how much of an impact your country makes on others. You need to realize that it does matter what we think. You obviously have no clear perception of what goes on in this world.
