He wants to gain this girls boyfriends trust. She, against her boyfriends desires, goes to hang out with him (Hanuted). Haunted well aware that she has a boyfriend and well aware that he wants to be her friend lets his testosterone get the better of him (like a typical youngster) and hooks up with her. Now he wants to act like a big shot and tell him, as if to throw it in his face. What is he gonna say, Im trying to get your trust, but I hooked up with your girlfriend? Seriously. It was an absolutely stupid thing to do.
