| Downtown is a beautiful beautiful piece of music, its too bad about the distortion in it though (could just be my crap sound card). Its realy weird hearing music from beyond the grave...RIP Starkid. |

i'm glad you enjoy our music.
as far as downtown, its not really so much distortion, as much clicky and poppy. adam didnt write it very tight and clean, i sort of left it eq'ed poppy and dirty like a holden production (listen to his britney remix, you'll know what i mean)
on a big system i think it sounds killer. kind of s with you, in stereo.....

damn - thats really sad to hear!
I heard that starkid was working on a mix for one of andy moors tracks (can't remember which one - but it was a sort of trade for the remix they did of Starkids 'Crayons'). Don't know about the progress of that or if we will ever get to hear this.
My thoughts go to his friends and family - i'm sure he will be missed by a great deal of people. |
