After dominating the high seas for many a summer, the grisled crew of the good ship Ascension finally went ashore late last year. Land lubbers they were not, so out of retirement they come to take on the young upstarts at Aqua Bass and show them who controls the mighty waterways of Lake Ontario.
Prepare for a battle of sound that will definitely wake the souls of the deep. With trance on one floor and jungle on the other, this is going to be one for the ages - don't miss out!

THE BOAT: The River Gambler
LOCATION:
Located at Pier 27 at the back of Captain John's
parking lot at 55 Queens Quay just east of Yonge.
TICKETS:
$30 in advance and limited to 500. Ascension cruises over the past two summers have all sold out in advance - avoid dissapointment and buy your tickets early! Fifty (50) tickets will be held for sale
at the dock on a first come, first serve basis for $40.00.
TRAVEL TIMES:
Boarding begins at 10pm,
departure at 11pm sharp,
return at approx 4am.
This is a 16+ event with a 19+ wristband drinking policy for those with proper ID.

I think thats the main point of the whole Trance vs. Jungle thing. Look at the shirts the DJ's have on on the flyer. I got a flyer for this at WEMF, I might check it out if i have time...it's three days before I move up there. |

that's interesting. most of the ppl i know either like jungle or trance, not both. I like both, but hardcore prefer trance ;) |

Im in for both! Not even sure which room I will be in more although I did go to all 3 ascnesions last year and the 2 aquabass boats....both were a blast. I will try and post pics this week!

i like both as well .. by far my favs.. it's always good to keep an open mind with music .. it makes it easier to hav a good time when ur at a party! :D

It's all about the extremes ... one is really uplifting and other is extremely dark and evil. I guess that's why I don't like prog too much. No middle grounds for me. |

I think this would be an interesting party, I like the two as well and I'd like to see who turns up more people, the trance room or the jungle room...
wouldnt it be funny if the jungle room got full and they had to go into the trance room:D |
