Is it really important to know how to do? I've been spinnin for a few months now and I have been hearing about how some dj's sort their records by what key they are in and stuff. So I was just wondering if this is really necessary. Is it really hard to do? Thanks. Boomer187 Depends on how easy you can find the key of your songs and how much you know about which keys go together. I think with just practicing you will find the records that just don't go together and the ones that do. Howvere if you know what key they are in you will already know which ones could sound beautifully together.
