blik, my brotha, what's up?! i can totally understand your frustration with this VIP chat thing. i mean if TA is supposed to be representative of our communal rave culture then there should be no place for this elitism. but unfortunately plur is just a mantra of a utopian society that doesn't exist, although for a few hours an evening we can sort of create one. in any long-standing community, such as TA, there is going to be a group of individuals that try to set themselves apart from the masses and be, in essence, the ruling class. this VIP chat room has done such a thing by allowing other TA'ers to act more important with phrases like, "you wouldn't know cuz you aren't in the VIP chat room." sorry to say blik, but it is an inevitable evolution of things. every trance chat room that i have ever been in has evolved into it. i don't agree with it, but i can't stop it from happening. so blik just relax, don't worry about it, and enjoy the rest of TA with the other peons such as myself. i don't know who is part of the VIP chat room and i don't want to know for fear of some divisory lines being drawn between all members. i hope that they have the common sense to dissolve this VIP chat room or at least not make such comments as the one i mentioned before. and if we are the communal TA crowd that i wish us to be then i hope they have the decency to fill you in on what you have missed if they insist on taking a private conversation from the VIP chat room to the public TA forums. i think this is the end of my diatribe. and blik just a thought... why do you want to stay only in the holland forums and not the rest when the one example of a comment that you mentioned happened in the holland forums? just curious.

ok take this, Yevat has acess to VIP, i no this as i saw it on his comp one night as we live 5 doors apart, now yevat and paul wilson have had MASSIVE and i mean MASSIVE flame wars, and the writting underneath VIP says summit like "for the proven members of the board who seek replies from ta's such as themselves" no offense to yevat but how has he proven himself after the shere amount of flame wars with paul? he is allowed in because either he has been arund for x months + or has x+ posts, thats all, he has not proven himself apart from his arguing skillz but there could be some1, and there are many, who have 200+ posts, registered 3months, and not have acess and be a guru of trance, take phaze, hasn't posted as many as yevat but he has posted worth, good posts about trance, helpfulness, imo has PROVEN himself, yevat did not, yevat has massive flame wars but coz he has alot more posts then phaze he has acess. phaze has been registered 7 months before yevat so that brings me to the conclusion that u are allowed acess after x+ posts reguardless with what they are about. Yevat RARLY posted in anything but chillout and has got all his posts from chillout but has yet PROVEN himself as a worthly member of the Very Important Person's club reguardless that phaze has posted worth and not flame wars. (ps phaze hasnt asked me to use him to make him look good, im just using him as an example coz i no hes a good guy)
another thing, ur prob thinking that me and blik are pissed coz we dont have acess, no. NO mod is allowed into this which upsets me as WE spend OUR time online keeping YOUR forums clean and free as best as we can, and to make a forum called VERY IMPORTANT PERSONS for PROVEN mebers and to not include the people that work for YOU as a whole is upsetting. and i am not annoyed coz i dont have acess, i am annoyed about the whole princeable of the idea outlinned above in the first paragraph.

Bilk, after listening to what you have to say I know understand.. But, I in no way believe that in any way you should be acting the way you are.. It's just a room dude.. Relax.. I understand the way you feel (a little left out I persume), although... Talk if it bothers you that much have a talk with Swamper about it.
