just came home from hospital

i just spent 3 days in the hospital because i was really sick, and in pain. i think it was the worst pain in my life. the doctors never knew what it was, but for some reason it got better by today and they let me go. it still hurts, and im basically stuck to a bed.
doc found thc in my blood, from when i used to do a few monthes back. ide thought it be gone by now. all my cd's are in the garbage, no trance, nothin. boarding school is waiting.. |

I have no idea what to say to you Nathan. My mean side wants to ask you what the hell you have been doing to get yourself sick and my nice side says to tell you that at least you're ok.
Your parents need to get a clue. Trance has nothing to do with THC being found in your blood. That was your own personal decision. There isn't enough of a trance scene in Tampa for it to be any kind of an influence on you much less a bad one. If we wanted to stereotype music I would say it would be more likely to be found in the blood of a metal head. |

| my parents always ask me...you are not going to take drugs are you and I always reply "No, I don't do drugs, I make fun of those who take them". My parents know all about rave culture and house music but they don't quite understand. It's hard with parents that just overeact but I dunno what I'd do if I was in their place. I mean I have a son that I care deeply for, he ends up in the hospital because of drugs in the system and the only thing they think is the music. The music does not make people take drugs, people take drugs. I will say that I feel sorry for you, when I got suspended my final year, I had to get rid of all my drum n bass CDs because my mom said it was angry music. If I was a parent, I'd make an effort to understand my kid's fave music and a bit about the history to be able to see what kids were into. I will say that I think it starts with communication, if I ended up in the hospital due to drugs I took at a club, I assume my parents would crack down on my clubbing activities but not throw out my CDs, my parents are more likely to sell them. I think it comes down to how much do you trust your kids. I pity you and your family, it's an issue that does not happen very often. |

| He didn't say he was in the hospital as a result of drugs. He said it had been months. One could potentially have nothing to do with the other. Pure speculation. He could have just been sick. |

| True but parents hear sickeness and drugs, they think clubbing and music. I know a friend that was sick as a result of nasty superbug but his parents thought it was his friends, he suffered till the doctors told his parents, it was a bug. |

well, my mothers somehow has found a spiritual rivival of some kind and now she has an excuse to not have to listen to my music again. shes always hated it.
ive still got a nice stash of burnt mp3's that i use as a backup for when my computer breaks down or gets a virus.
this pain medicine they given me is puttin me to sleep, so im off. |
