i closed that thread. it was supposed to be a poll, and it submitted anyways.
mods shouldn't just close thread like that, ones that goes on for 20+ pages, they should delete posts that are no pertinent or cause drama. pic threads are nice to scroll back through after awhile, but when they're closed, they're meaningless and a waste of time. |

The other pic thread was closed by the person that opened it because of chatting. Nothing has changed. This new one is the same way. |

that's my point...someone has a hissy fit, closes the thread, takes their toys and goes home like a 5 year old. |

I don't know Whiskers so I'm not going to agree or disagree. Ian (redeye) tried to re-open that thread and it turned into a flame war. Picture threads are going to have chatting. People see a pic and they respond. Someone responds to that post and it just grows. We were all guilty of it so I laugh at people that thought they were innocent. Why do people think the view count was so high? Because people found it entertaining to read all the posts. Sure some people hated weeding through it all, but it was entertaining. It kept a lot of the BS in one thread. Telling people to take it to IRC is crazy sometimes. Not everyone is online at the same time. If it is posted someone can go back and read it. |

If a mod deletes offensive posts on a REGULAR basis, people will, no matter what you say, be deterred from posting offensively, at least to a point. |

It was PvD. I told you from the beginning that I was horrible about keeping in touch with people. We get along now. Granted it took over 4 months, but it sure beats the hell out of seeing your name all over TA and trying to avoid you. Good thing you don't hold grudges. hahaha! :D |
