HP notebook battery life

hey, im in the market for a pseudo-desktop replacement notebook, and was wondering if any of you know how much battery life the Hewlett-Packard R3000 series has.
I suppose centrino is an option, but im not sure if it's worth the drop in processor speed.
are there any that you'd recommend? i use quite a few editing programs, and would use it for school as well.

| All I can tell you is that I have a HP pavillion ze4420, and that it runs about 3-4 hours on battery, less if you use it more intensively. So that's not too long, but I dont really take it out for fresh air that often anyway :p |
