| anyone know if its possible to run one of those little gooseneck lamps off the xlr mic input on top of the djm500? |

Well (theoretically) as it provides phantom power for the mic, then yes, theoretically you could knock up an adaptor to take the power feed from the pin on the xlr and send it to a gooseneck.
Theoretically
I imagine you void your warranty tho.... |

Is it for your place or for a party setup ???
Cause if you go to IKEA they have lots of kind of lamp from cliping to screw to 100% normal stand. Just go take a look !! |

| Unfortunetly DJM500/600 don't have phantom powered mic jacks, and it is not possible to run a lamp off of it. One of the best and most popular gooseneck lamps for DJ equipment is made by http://www.littlite.com |

| So for those of us with DJM-500/600s who still would like a gooseneck lamp (or anything else with such a small footprint)...any suggestions on external pieces of equipment that will help here? |
