Yeah Sicily is awesome.....

Loads of amazing historical sites, amazing landscape and nice restaurants. I think i remember staying at some place called Badelato (it might have been in Calabria), but wherever it was, it was a really cool hotel, perched right on the cliff top over the ocean. The ferry ride over from Calabria is pretty cool as well.

Have any of you people ever heard of the Aeolian islands?? Lipari, Salina, Stromboli etc....it's kinda like Italy's version of the Greek islands. I stayed on Salina for a week, and it was awesome. We hired Vespas and cruised around the long, deserted, windy island roads. We also went to lots of beautiful little restaurants and Cafes, saw some local religous festivals, did some sunbaking, went on a day trip to Lipari to see the Volcano and the mud baths (you have to see them to believe it) and did plenty of other stuff.

The Aeolian islands are close to Sicily......only about 1/2 hrs ferry ride away.

If its a bit much to read it all I listed the places i talk about is in the first sentence so just read up on the place youfancy

Well taking into consideration your from pitsburg and that being a city you might wanna try something away from all that. I know that there are a lot of good parties in europe but! Seeing as how bush ed us over royal I wouldn't recommend it.

I find Amsterdam way overated the price on X wasn't all the great in comparison to what I could get from a buddy in the state of Washington, true they do have smart shops which sell shrooms but I could get those for 7 dollars and once in Florida, if its pot your after try Vancouver Canada, they have much higher quality strains at cheaper prices. If you dont' know anyone in Canada and buy off a bum its gunna run 10 dollars a gram but if you can get the hook up from a local It can run around 120 for an once of the freshest iceolator, and I hear that, 120's just a run of the mill price.
Food going I'd say I enjoyed amsterdam the best, reasonable prices for decent munchies(it seems like thier catering for potheads maybe i'm wrong) other than that it was Allergy city, they grow lotsa flowers which they export everywhere so for the average city joe like yourself I'd say there's a good chance you might sneeze your brains out.

Germany was fairly bland minus the kinky sex shops, and the nice record stores, I didn't really care for the bland food, europeans aren't as big on sauces (minus thier pomme frites(french fries)) so dont' expect tartar sauce or anything fancy like that in London when you buy fish and chips.
England, Ireland, Scotland, minus a few differences the cities look identical you take a picture of a typical street in any one of those countries and you won't be able to tell them apart. THe people are what make for the big differences.
France was ok, if you like sitting outside all day everything was out of my price range when it comes to clothing otherwise its great for getting a new wardrobe,(same goes for Milan) Thier food wasn't very appetizing I'd say spain thier neighbor has better food and better prices.
Belgium was boring minus the beer, if you stick to a small ass town like bruge you can score good deals on the those beers in champaign bottles which cost a fortune in the US. other than getting ty i was bored out of my mind.
Spain was ok, its a lot like mexico so if your going there you might as well go to mexico instead its a lot cheaper in mexico and there's a lot of similarity. Spains lame during the day b/c they close down at midday it freakin pisses me off cuz i forget about that and I have to starve for 4 hourse cuz i forgot to eat b4 hand. There's a lot of hot hookers in spain and although the quality isn't garunteed like amsterdam they are hotter and cheaper.
Switzerland, this place is pretty to look at and more of a day trip kind of thing not worth staying over its really more of a I'd go retire there kind of place.
Sweden has the bitches for sure but its very unaffordable I was around 12 dollars US for a pint of beer that. not worth it.
CzechRepublic is for the poor guy, its europe but cheap, about 30 cents a pint and the girls are hot there.
Mexico, cancun, cozmel, like that, you can score a cheap all inclusive deal online include flight food, and hotel. ALso includes all the booze you can drink room service, and food you want. Most hotels have a kitchen right near the water so you can chill out and drink for free while eating lobster and a rack of ribs. my trip cost me 756 the last time I went. Also pharmecuticals are easliy obtainable you can buy xanax and valium and other fun over the counter, but know that they call them different things so look online for what you want b4 you go so you don't get the wrong thing. ALso for drugs you ask the cab driver thats what they do. you can score a brown paper bag of schwag full to the brim for 5 bucks. Jose Quevro is 5 dollars a 5th there so drink up buddy.
Japan, this place is defineatly a trip, but it is expensive. Its not cheap at all this broke me in two. The girls are cute and its not hard to find the trashy kinky bitches. Only problem I saw was the LANGUAGE barrier. It seems no one cared to learn the language hard to navigate and find to do with so many people not knowing english. You can also score a plethora of research chemicals like 2ct-7, 5meo etc. other drugs are harder to come by minus shrooms. The beer sucks so stick to sake.
Korea, I didn't have a problem with the language barriers most of the youngsters know english however the scene here is new, and there's only 3 production crews in the whole countries so don't expect to be raving too much while your there. On the plus side its easy to score bitches in that all you ahve to do is buy them hella drinks and invite them back with you. But I find the clubs to be very boring in that people dont' dance with each other its like being at a middle school dance no fun. Pot here sucks and costs like 90 dollars a gram it. Beer sucks stick with soju.
China, people here do drugs and know how to have a good time. Real chinese food is diff. from what I imagined some in a not so good way. But on the plus side you can score lotsa cheap knockoffs. A lot of it isn't even knock offs jsut stolen from the factories so you can sell them on Ebay as the real thing. I didn't find a big language barrier in the big cities like hong kong but hong kong was boring I'd go try a place like singapore. They have awesome clubbing there. Singtao is rocking but the rest of the beer sucks.
Thailand is fun, its very cheap to get around, and so you can see what it feels to be a balla, the cultural differences are astounding and you can score weed at the brothels, The weed there gives you a different high.
Nepal is awesome you can score free bud in the mountains altho it isn't femnized but who gives a its free. if you in Nepal I recomend going to indonesia as well. But be warned you can get jacked here hardcore. Odly they think malboro filters are clean but the gum on papers to be poison. They have some rocking food especially dishes with coconut. Hash is cheap here too.
Australia is pretty tight, the girls are lovely there and they are HOT for american cock, and there are places you can smoke legally. Well maybe they just don't care in those areas don't really know the exact laws.

Hope that helps m8

I never really got all the fuss about Amsterdam.. Sure, when you are looking for weed or hookers, it's a good place to be, but besides that, I think it's not really an impressive place to be for more than a day or two.. For the clubbing part, you'll get disappointed as well I think. Almost no club in Amsterdam plays trance anymore. Most of them are all about R&B or groovy house. And Sensation just sucks. Unfortunately most foreign people don't get that something like Dance Valley or Awakenings Festival is a hundred times better and drool all over Sensation.

When I graduate from college, I want to go to New Zealand for a month or so, it really seems like a nice place to spend some time. I'm not really looking for any clubbing environment, it's just a great opportunity to spend some time somewhere out of Holland / Europe. Other places I would really like to visit some time are:

- French Polynesia
- Finland (was supposed to go there for a four-month traineeship, but it got cancelled)
- Iceland

Nice places to visit (where I've already been) are Italy (and not just the big cities, although Rome is a must-visit) and South Africa, which is really a beautiful country.
TranceGiant
Tel Aviv has a wicked scene but ridiculous age limits (most clubbings are 23+, 24+...). So if you just graduated from high school.....forget it.
astroboy
Depends on how long you're going for. If you want to make a proper trip of it and go for half a year or longer (which is what i'd recommend) I'd take a region, like eastern europe or south-east Asia or South America and just explore them really well. You're in the US so You'll probably get more chances to go to South America later... So I'd say SE and/or central Asia would be good to explore.

LOL, what are you TALKING about man?

Do you think they grow flowers in Amsterdam and export those?

Obviously you did smoke too much of our overrated , because you won't find too many flowers in Amsterdam, mostly trees. All the flowers we export are, obviously, grown on fields, not in the city of Amsterdam.

But hey, way to be stereotypical.

Calabria!!

Actually, I suggest taking two months and go all around Europe. Amsterdam is overrated IMO, but there's so much more to see across the continent. Make sure you go to Eastern Europe as well, now's the best time (before it becomes TOO touristy).

i dont mind most yanks... but its people like you who give your country the rep it has.... SINGAPORE isnt part of china, they dont even speak the same language, a small percentage of the population speaks mandarin, but the national language is Malay. China's majority speaks cantonese or some dialect of it. a small small small percentage speak mandarin.......

AMERICAN BEER SUCKS ... i have to say i like most asian beers better than any coors, bud, sam adams, rolling rock or any other american beer i have had yet. And european and canadian beer?? no contest.

i love the quote about chinese food not tasting as good as it does in the states. newsflash since when was any "ethnic" food in the states authentic. it has more msg than it does nutrients. chinese cuisine has many different regions with distinct flavours from each. china has two major styles sezchwan (probably spelled incorrectly) and imperial mandarin. Thai, Vietnamese and Malay food is also amazing.

this reminds me of a moment from my last trip to europe i was in a cheese shop in italy some american lady was bitching because the mozerella she had bought there didnt taste like the kraft version from the US...

most of the americans i know are pretty cool people, especially the ones i know through TA and from Wemf every year. but if your too close minded to appreciate what the rest of the world has to offer, dont bother comparing it to the bland knock offs of the real thing you buy in the states. there is no comparison.

the fact is that the food and drink you thought "sucked" were undoubtedly far more healthy than the preservative and chemical loaded we north americans eat and drink everyday. what was the last food item you purchased that didnt have a bunch of chemical names in the ingredients list...

and germany bland??? you have never been to an american subbub then.... now thats bland.

grow up and open your eyes. or shut your mouth.... your choice. stop making your country men look bad.
