Ok, so I want to do that choppy reverbed vocal effect used in pretty much all vocal trance songs (you know the one i am talking about ;D). This has been covered before on this forum, and so far I have had little luck getting it right. The whole "reverse then reverb then reverse" thing was simple enough, but how do you do gating in flstudio? :(
Ive tried playing around with the volume automation, tried linking the volume to a peak controller etc. but the sound I get in the end just sounds crap!
How do other flstudio users do this effect? Or is there something I'm not doing right?
Thanks. |

| if you have a vsti that you can do a gate effect in you can load the vsti effects panel in your fx board and work from there. |
