I'm posting this so i can look back later and still remember what this feels like. My hands are shaking and i've got tears in my eyes. Feeling very very lucky to be typing this right now. The words "NOT LIKE THIS, NOT LIKE THIS" still echoing in my head. What the was that?! I woke up, tried to breathe in and... it didn't work! All that came out of me was a high-pitch sound, but no air came in. Do you remember that guy who's lung collapsed in that war movie? I sounded EXACTLY like that. I try to breathe in again. Nothing. I start getting worried. I get up from my bed, try harder, but still nothing. I start wondering how much longer i can go on like this. I try again. Nothing. I start suffocating. Life flashing before my eyes? Bull. All i could think was "NOT LIKE THIS, NOT LIKE THIS, I DON'T WANT MY MOM TO FIND ME DEAD ON THE FLOOR WHEN SHE WAKES UP!" I start stumbling. I'm running out of air. I give it one last try. And it works. What the was that? What the was that?! I'm going to the clinic!

i had a problem awhile back. Its not that i couldnt breathe but i had a tickle in my throat that made my mind react as if i was losing my breath. The result was hyperventilation and vomiting. It turned out i had a small cyst in my throat which eventually cleared up.

not being able to breath is the scariest thing i have ever gone through(for a good 14 years of my life). stupid assmar!:whip:

tell us what the doc says when you see him, im interested to know what caused that.

Oh, I learned about this in my psycology class. It sounds like a sleeping disorder called "sleep apnea"... you should look into that.
