Read through it. While it consists mostly of blatant deceits, Moore indeed lies outright on multiple occasions.
Additionally, the difference between deceit and lying is spurious in this instance, as Moore intends for his audience to come away with an impression that is clearly counter to fact. By intentionally hoping to give his audience a false impression, he is -effectively- lying, even if each individual clause in each sentence can somehow be construed as true. |

What does that have to do with Michael Moore's lies, deceits, and distortions? Looks like you're trying to change the subject. Remember, Kopel is not part of the VRWC, so he's probably not featured in that database you linked to. |

I'm browsing through this database. Some worthwhile material. However, alot of the "Fact" refutations of supposed "Distortions", particularly regarding quotes by administrations officials on Iraq, rely on the power of hindsight, which is disingenuous to say the least. At least the source is open about its anti-conservative bias, but i think disingenuous does summarize a good deal of the records in the database. However, rather than respond to this, I'd rather you respond to the fact that Michael Moore is a lying scumbag :) |

Not really, just pointing out how both sides tend to distort a tad bit for their own personal agendas. The difference, of course, is Michael Moore is a loudmouth and is not a politician with no political power to create laws or enact policies, vs. our Administration who can and has decisively done just that.
Oh, and I do believe I answered your Kopel criticism with a blog website that refutes Kopel's claims in a fairly concise manner. It was at the end of Page 1 on this thread.

Sorry, can't go that far. A biased guy with an agenda who's a little quick with the facts and tends to distort to fit his personal views, just like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly? Absolutely.
