Advice - Probable E-Bay Scam

I was wondering what you lot thought about the following situation im in.
I bought a set of Technics SL1210-M5G's, Gemini PS626I 3 Channel Mixer and a Stanton Trackmaster 2SK Cart & Stylus Box Set.
I paid the guy and he said he would send it out, not heard anything till i put a paypal complaint form in then i get this :

So sorry! I am in greece! I have had no means of checking my emails until
now! I left my flat mate to send them! So sorry for this! I understand that
you will leave negative feedback!
I will get onto my flatmate asap and let you know what is going on as soon
as I do!
Once again, my apologies.

what was this guys feedback record like?
also what email program do you use? maybe possible to retrive the email headers which will contain the IP address from were the email was sent |

How much did you pay for them?? I've never bought anything off of eBay, precisely because of people like that. I just don't trust them with my money. If I was gonna buy expensive goods like DJing equipment, I'd definately buy from the manufacturer's website or a legitimate online store.
Well if he doesn't cough up the goods, let us know and I'll send the boys round... |

| Alright, this is just in my experience, but I have found that ANYONE who uses !!!'s instead of periods in emails/IMs/forums/ANYTHING is shady. Im not even kidding. Hahaha. :p Maybe its just a random correlation tho... |
