Ok, please could any synth experts listen to that sample. That really high pitched sound happens frequently when using my Nordlead 3, it sounds different on various patches but it isn't exactly wanted :confused:. Is it just bad synth programming? I can't believe it is, as it does it on both factory presets and my own patches. I at first suspected overheating, but apparently it should be fine at a high heat being used way longer than I use it for. This happens about 20-30 minutes after I start using it. Can anyone help? :( |

| These instruments are mostly very well built , as they have to be strong enough to survive a live pa, where it can be very hot so I really doubt temperature has something to do with it. hw synths resist heat better than pc's. |

| My Nord Lead gets very hot, its on for about 17 hours a day every day. I have no problems. probley doesnt do it any favours but its ok. |

Yeah, but my point is that it's sending strange noises out of the output while its excessively hot, making it unusable. |

Cheers for the replies...
It seems to start after its been on for 20-30 minutes on average. Whenever I touch the top on the right of the synth module its quite hot there, which is why I made the assumption it was overheating. Check out this sample if you haven't already, maybe that'll help you identify my problem :( |

Sounds nasty mate.
I dont think it could be the heat. I cant see how the heat can make your nord make that sound. It makes the sound when you hit the key and sometimes it delays and does it after you hit the key, it sounds like some sort of feedback. Save your sounds and try re-installing the OS if that does work then id send it back man.:( |
