What a great ing night! so worth every penny (and i spent lots, believe me!!) thanks to all that helped make it what it was. you know who you are ;)

well I have to concur there. It was more of a hard trance night than an uplifting melodic trance night.
Scott Bateman played really well and thoroughly enjoyed his opening set. Steve and I came on and had a great time as well even though we had a few technical difficulties with the cdj's and the turntable pitch adjustment shorting out around zero- it comes with the job:toothless. We tried to get the momentum going for the next set of dj's and it seemed that the crowd was hungry for something a lot "harder" by the time we finished.
Was an interesting night and a great one in the end. It's amazing how you are always learning new things about 5am, the crew and the people.
I'm sure I not only speak for myself here but steve also. We'd like to thank everyone that showed their support during our set.

of course it was more of a hard trance night.. what do you think alphazone play, produce, and promote? ht.. i dont know if anyone had any intentions from the start for this to be a full on uplifting night?

yeah I sorta understand Dave...
Just bamboozles me why Misja Helsoot (pure uPLifiting trance) isnt hired for cheeps, Diggs and Morro are too progressive, John 00 Flemming (pure trance) is too hard and then Alphazone (more Bass Station stylez than uPLifitng trance) is hired for 5AM.
Anywho Im not going on about it any more...congrats 5am..it was a rockin' night..im not gunna get into more over it...rock on. |

friday was a huge success & i'm proud of the crew & dj's. Both rooms were rockin & when it got a bit harder in the main room there was still plenty of uplifting melodic trance in the sideroom.
Alphazone kicked arse & were much better than the likes of Dumonde & Cosmic Gate... & yeah, being Alphazone, you knew what to expect.
