I was just watching one of those TV stations that play music and have artist facts scroll across the screen. Music Choice is the name of the company...
anyway...I was listening to the DANCE channel and I read an interesting fact that I didn't know, and I thought I'd might share.
Re-made Reggae songs w/ their vocals removed were made so that the crowds could sing the vocals while the song was being played and this became known as a DUB.
We all know that Dub's are non/vocal versions of tracks. But did you know where it started? Now ya do :) |
