Q (PC Music): You've worked with the best of the best, collaborated with so many artists, now remixed U2 and been all over the world, so what's next for Paul van Dyk?
A (Paul van Dyk): Enjoy what I am doing basically. The next thing is going to be this EP, which is obviously sort of different thing. There are no radio mixes, no videos, nothing which is accessible to a pop market. It's all banging club tunes and this is what the next thing is. Then I'm preparing this DJ mix CD, but it's a different concept of it. It's a merge between a DJ mix CD, an artist album and a remix album. As an example if there is a track which I really really like, but it doesn't fit from the way it is, I just remix it so it fits perfectly, so that's the whole approach on to that CD. It's a lot of work, which is why I'm doing it now and this is supposed to come out, sort of October.
Hope this answers things. Straight from the Horses Mouth (as it were).

| I don't see what the big deal is about this new PVD mix CD? I know he doesn't make mix CD's, but there is nothing most of us don't already have on there. |

It's true that most of us have all these tracks , but i still think it's a good CD , the tunes are all wicked and i really like it to see them all mixed . Can't wait for it to be released in the nearest CD store |

Just to clarify some things:
Van Dyk indeed did do a remix of Joker Jam-Innocence as well as Zipping Zoma-So Alive..he himself states it in October issue of Mixer magazine..and the big deal about this album is that even though most of the tracks will not be his own full productions, you know he will bring the intensity all of us yearn and love through his careful remakes and transitions from track-to-track. |
