I listened to JUST TOCHO... gotta say, wish I could get my sound to come out this clean. Great sound.. you a pro sound mixer?
This song however is pretty cheese. That gliding bendy synth is a lil much for me. You do well arranging the elements and mixing it up to keep it interesting, so overall I'd say its a pretty good job.
Great job on the vocoder and the filter sweeps! PRO! Even filtered the percs...hehe.
The Bass bit at 2:45 is a nice touch. The ending is awful to my ears...don't like the chord progressions there.
Can't say this is outstanding or earth-shattering by any means...but still a solid piece of work there pal!

| sounds much like it belonds in a video game, not a club. if game soundtrack was the feel you were going for, it does the trick, especially with the sliding lead synth going on there. |

far to basic for me. nice ideas. that bendy synth sounds like a sega megadrive or game boy or something! Dont like the kick or bass. structure is very weak and it doesnt link together very well. all in all nice ideas with the melodies and things but way too basic in my opinion, not enough going on. could be made into a good track with some work :P

I guess this is not my favourtie sub-genre. You seem to posess a certain degree of musical adeptness, since the melodic part of the tracks is not truly lagging.
Overall, I would change your style of production. Do not go by the exploited formula. Make something new! |
