My friends and I love all kinds of EDM including house and some breaks. I just don't dig on the D n B...gives me a migraine. James Zabiela was tearing it up just awhile ago and he really made me a fan. For house guys, for me the best is Steve Lawler. I don't hear too many other DJ's that play such a variety of cuts set to set. Guys like Digweed are just too proggy, it gets monotonous. Deep Dish, Hernan Cattaneo, etc.... those guys are good too!
Don't get me wrong though, I love PVD, but sometimes he plays too much of his own songs in his sets again and again which gets a little boring. I don't like songs like "Time of our Lives." Guys singing in trance isn't too good. Yet, mostly he brings it hard and that's the way I like it!
I would stop by to say hello at Armin if I saw you but I think your boyfriend would jump me. So I'll just say thanks for welcoming me. Actually, I'm quite harmless.
I started liking this music back in 1999 and still going strong. Paul Oakenfold was my favorite back then but now he's pretty weak! "Starry Eyed Surprise?" That's a total sell-out song and pure crapola. Too bad because he was good....
I even got my 14 year old niece liking trance but now I'm afraid later she will want to go to some raves. I want her hitting the books. :p |

Zabieeeeelaaaaaaaaaa OMG...he def made a fan outta me. i admit i kinda overposted a bit on the boards tho after i heard him at CroBAR...**BLUSH* damn good dj tho...i pretty much like most genres, including DnB altho trying to dance 2 it is def another thing entirely...lol
yeah its def a catch22 there when u see younger ppl getting into the music. VERY presumptuous to assume but im like, well, what if like my kid ends up liking trance...of course i would LUV it...but then again since i know what goes on there...and yet i used to do it...it would DEF be a quandry indeed :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: so i def feel ya on dat.
