With my manager, it is "What do you have on your plate?" (e.g. what are you working on?)- me (responding literally): "your heart and balls" |

havnt bothered to read the entire thread but these are some slang words that annoy me loads.
blem (cigarette) when people come up and ask me using this word, i want to break their neck.
flashers (another scally slang term, means bus pass)
n****r (when people use this racist term, and even use it for white people, it shouldnt be used in any context)
fab (damn yuppies, also see super) |

I don't know if anyone has ever heard this, but every time someone says it, I just want to slap them.
"jones" or "jonesy"
ie: "Dammit, we need some air conditioning up in this jonesy."
ie: "Pass me the basketball jones."
I have heard these phrases too much at school (by the wanksters, of course) and it really grinds on my nerves. I once asked what that word is supposed to mean and I got the response that it could be used to talk about anything. WTF??
I also dislike "holla", "holla at ya boy", "go cop dat", and "suppeeee".
And, I also dislike when people (especially teen girls) overuse the word "like". Very ty sounding.
Finally, I have always thought the word "jot" sounds so gay when used in place of "write". "Why don't you get some paper and jot that down". |
