Building a track from the beginning

Hi there,

I'm producing for a few years now and I've made several tracks.. This time I want a better improvement than the other tracks had. So please could you guys just help me a bit?

I've made a sample, it's just a base of a track. Does this sound ok or do I need to change a lot on it? (and what) Oh, and I don't mean the build-up, only the sounds, how it sounds, how it fits and things like that.

Sample

Thanks.

i can listen to like 50 seconds of it and i get "connection failed" :nervous:

From what I heard, it was pretty cool yeah :D
Dunno if I like the clap sound youve used, but other than that, its good.

Maybe try to make the intro have a bit less bassline and more percussion for easier mixing? I dont really know anything about that though so I'm probably wrong ^____^

reverb !!!!Well heres what I would do id focus on having a kick and Hi hats for the first 8 bars with the bass line with a simple kick and ommpa bass. Then after the first 16 bars bring in the bass line u have with high hats and a sfx with a crash cym to bring everything in. Then after the next 8 bars bring ur next percussion and ur good to go mabey even at an arp synth after the 16 bar count brining it by volume automation and filter automation bring it in from 0 to about 64 then when u bring all the perc sounds in then bring the filter all the way up on the arp. Then id might even add a bleep synth in the back ground with that.

This track sounds alot like the Progression track Johnson and Corbett have done u can hear a sample here.
