'Swift boat veterans for truth' saga
So they released the scathing TV ad:

Ouch!
Then an article in the Boston Globe saying one of the guys retreats on his allegations:

Turns out the author of the Boston Globe (the Globe is owned by the NY Times) article is paid member of the Kerry campaign, and wrote the Kerry/Edwards campaign book (what liberal media? oh, you mean that one).
Now theres reports saying that the veteran in question is sticking by his story, calling the Globe article a misrepresentation:

I knew who I believe this time around. It's nice that theres the internet to finally keep an eye on the mainstream liberal media. |
