Astrology and "The Aquarian Age"

Lately i've been fascinated by the aspects of astrology.

Now I am not a firm believer or a follower in the studies of astrology, where the positioning of the stars above us controls our lives and the personalities and traits they reflect upon us.

However, I somehow stumbled upon this essay by Elsa M.Glover (she looks freaky btw), and reading a part of this rather long essay got me interested in astrology and especially the "Aquarian Age"

The Aquarian Age is said to be reached around A.D. 2638 to A.D. 4700, but we are said to be currently already getting the influence as we enter the 2000 millenium. The Aquarian Age is all about, independence, freedom, creativity, humanitarian views, inventions, and free of political control where the whole world comes to unite, as oposed to the "Pisces Age", the current age we are in, where more connections to people that had power had the benfit of the doubt.

What gets me more into it is as a kid my dreams were to always unite the world into one whole community, and i've always had an inventive, creative, and a humanitarian mind which the aqurian age focuses on. The world is also becoming a much more technological which was very sudden, comparing to the technology of only 100 years ago.

Anyways, i just wanted to share my 10 cents. Hope none of you fell asleep.

You dont even need to go as far back as 100 years ago... we seem to be growing exponentially, for those of you that dont understand that term, what it means is that we are growing at an extremely fast rate with out end.

Think about it, ever since computers became a rather common household appliance, they have started to be come more powerful and efficient and at much faster rate. Before, even a 200mhz upgrage was a big deal, now thats nothing. In 10 years we went from 486 processers to pentium 4/233mhz to 4 ghz. The rate at which we are growing is so fast its incredible.

Fun facts of the zodiac, brought by Orbax :D

There are actually 13 constellations. A constellation is a grouping of stars that the earth ecliptic passes through. Thats why the big dipper isnt a constellation, even though its a picture. Its an asterism an "unofficial" constellation.

Anywho, I forgot what the 13th Zodiac is, but it messes up all that crap :D

also, its all based off 2000 year old astronomy. during that time the stars have shifted. If you are a taurs, your actually the one AFTER that now.

Tru dat. The visionary couple Alvin and Heidi Toffler may have said it best in their concept of accelerative thrust.

At a point, Moore's Law ceases to be applicable.

And still, there are those who believe that we are not moving fast enough.

We mistakely thought we would have far more leisure time at our disposal because of new technology. Rather, the new machines just help us get our work to us faster and more intrusively, during all hours of the day, waking -- and sometimes sleeping.

I look forward to new developments.
