Boat party review

Excellent time! I'd say it well worth the money. Outstanding set by DJ Tek. Star played nice stuff as well, but his set was shortened by the boat docking 15 minutes early. Plenty of visual entertainment too. :p
There were at least 2 fights that broke out, which was unfortunate to happen, but they were a sight to see for those not involved. Some of them continued on the pier and parking lot after the boat docked.
It did suck that the afterparty didn't quite happen, due to the venue (Carnaval) double-booking DJ's.
There was a little something at Tae's place instead, but too bad everyone there fell asleep right away, and missed the sick tag-team set that Jay and I dropped. :p |

Seriously though, your review sounds like it was an excellent time other than the fights.
Were there any highlights to the actual sets themselves? What other genres were being spun besides Trance? |

I'm sure that holds true with almost any American party, especially when the attendees mix alcohol with their absense of an acquired taste for Trance or EDM in general.
I love hip-hop, but I would feel VERY out of place at a hip-hop party!
Haters are just lame. If people would simply take the time to try and understand one another the world would be such a better place.
Unfortunately, the hip-hop scene itself appears to revolve alot around ignorance and tit-for-tat pissing (aka dissing) contests.

I want to thank everyone who came to support myself and DJ Tek on board the Queen of Hearts Cruise on Friday night. The weather & your support made the party all worthwhile. The cruise was a success! Unfortunately, there was a problem for the after-hours event @ Carnival, where the owner had double booked an event without notifying one of our promoters. It was definitely disappointing because I was looking forward to DJing with Ted S. & Christian A. Ofcourse in this business, we will always have people who will love money more than the music.
So in conclusion, I along with the production company who booked the Djs & the event would like to apologize for the after-party mix-up. DJ Tek & I are actually planning out a free event for everyone who attended the cruise party. We feel as if the party is not finished so in a couple of weeks we will bring you the conclusion of the party.
This time TFST & AE will be organizing the event, so no worries. ;)

i didnt play any 'standard 138+ bpm trance' on the boat.. closest to trance record was probably Benz & MD - Dialation[G-Pal remix]... Progressive Trance anyway...
props to everyone i saw friday night.. the boat cruise was off the hook ! i didnt witness any of the fights but i guess thats a good thing.. and to all the ppl that was there anticipating the after party, we[TFST & AE] will be organizing a free party for all of you in the coming weeks.. once again thanx to everyone that came out and thanx to star for the gig, i had a blast.:D
