Wow, I can't wait. This is a good opportunity for me. I think it's gonna be a great night.
DJ_Octane
I got hit with 10-11, so we'll see what happens.

fk man can't wait
zenbudda
hey if there is any kind of pre-show party/spinning happening, feel free to pm me or something. i'm going to be in SA before the show starts so I might as well do something cool.
DJ_Octane
I'm gonna be making cds at joe's so if you're stuck here, maybe you can come hang out before the show. i'll pm you my number.
DJ_Octane
Big thanks to Ray Ray, Packer, Joel, and Alberto for making it out. I wish I could have done better, but the loyal support from you guys keeps me going.

You mixed a lot better than you give yourself credit for. Other than the Flight 643 transition, there was one other that wasn't too crash hot but most of the rest were tight enough for the sound system. I still don't know how you can get by with those headphones though man, I reckon they sound awful

So this is where the San Antonio crowd is going now. No wonder Nuno's club was completely empty, except for the guys he was playing poker with in the VIP room.

Oh well... fun while it lasted.

I DID DO A KICK ASS SET THOUGH! lol, you all missed it!
zenbudda
yeah props to dave! you got heard in a new setting man. sorry i bailed on you guys so early, but i was dreading the ride home. i was hoping to at least hear solar baby and chaos spin before i left. so, if anything happens in the next 2 weeks (before i leave for vegas) let me know!
DJ_Octane
I really like the Sony headphones. I reckon I should try to spin with your headphones and see which ones I like.

Ray - No worries, though the crowd did pick up a bit after you left. I left about 1am from what I remember.

Dave - beatmatching with the HD280's is much easier I find, because the bass in the 700's is really muddy, as opposed to in the HD280's where it's very tight, precise, and not exagerated. Plus the amount of isolation of ambient noise that you get with mine really helps a lot when you have no choice, or you prefer, to mix (or just beatmatch) in the headphones. Even the high end of the HD280's still sounds precise and not rolled off, so beatmatching with high hats isn't hard either. Everyone's ears are different though, but still, no harm in trying em, so lemme know if you want to

So sorry we missed it... we wanted to see you guys before we left.

Ended up with 3 extra kids last night.... everyone trying to see their friends before we leave.

I hope it went well!
