| What exactly is french house? I have an idea that its something like filtered, funky,vocal style house. is that right? how did it come to be called 'french'? |

| It's the french version of italo disco. Which is the Europe'd version of disco. That's how I look at it, anyway. I could be wrong on the french version of italo part. |

french house is wayy wayy more a discerning form of dance music.. usually consisting of deep, funky and dirty hooks, and yeah not forgetting the overuse of filters :p
