Had a really nice night. Started off in the Kool Haus listening to the Thirst DJ and was very impressed. He played some really dark and dirty beats considering how early it was.
Moved over to the GUV next to check out Scumfrong as I thought he was on at 1:00am. He didn't go on until much later but I really enjoyed the last hour or 2 of Mark Oliver's set. Dance for a wee bit on the stage with some of the TA folk but I didn't stick around for too long as it was too hot in the Guv for me and since I had seen Jesse a few times before I figured I would head to the KH to catch Tong and Howells. I was very disppointed to find out when I arrived in the KH that Howells had gone on early slot and that I had missed him. Tong's set was a good one, great to see the legend live and I too really enjoyed hearing the Deep Dish Flashdance.
I had not been out to a party in quite sometime so it was great to see all the smiling TA faces again and meet some new ones. 404 Science... was nice meeting you.
The worst part of every night at the Guv for me is having to pass thru the orangeroom and this night was no exception. I actually walked thru the room with my hands covering my ears at one point in hopes that the tunes in there would not ruin my happy vibe. my personal top 40 hip hop hell. shudder. |

Loved it...
awesome energy throughout the night...and good friends to share it with....guvernment was rocking...tonnes of room to dance and better yet...he loved the club...which means hopefully we'll see him again soon :D :D..

Ehm...other tracks. I opened with Rene Amez “I’ve been away”, coming up on Matthew Dekay’s label. I played Matthew’s “Move Yo” and his remix of Madoka.
That’s all that comes to mind right now. As you know I’m not a big track-keeper. :-(" |

No, the same girl who works System's door as well. Ya, we're convinced she doesn't even LOOK at the list most of the time b4 she tells u you're 'not on it'. Too many bad incidents to talk about with her... makes you wonder if she's paid extra to reject the people and be THAT bitchy. Regardless, I got in. |

is this the girl at KH all the time? Has she been there for a while now? I remember going to G&D, Infected & Rank 1 in Jan, and having guest list through John...this biatch refused to honour it. We were on the list, it wasn't past the time, and she basically said "look, it's full price now, the list is 'used up', I'm not arguing with anyone else, so pay it or leave".
FFS, if she hates her f**king job that much, FIND ANOTHER ONE and stop wrecking the beginning of people's nights out!!! :whip:
If I hadn't seen Scumfrog @ System last year, I'd be VERY upset at missing him this time.

Oh man, I know who you mean Nat..she is a right beatch. I swear she spends most of her time looking at her reflection in the silver clip of her clip board...and then gets pissed at you because you are putting her out for making her look your name up. |

Yes, I wore the outfit... at times. It was just so hot in there. Much easier to wear in System during the month of October.
And yes, same doorgirl. I had Mark Oliver put Filo & Peri on his list when they came, and she told them they weren't on. Since Mark called me long distance on his cell to make the arrangements, I highly doubt that was true.
True- she needs a new job, or a new outlook on life. |

I'd just like to go on the record as saying that i've never had one problem with this woman. That being said, she still acts like a bitch sometimes, just never to me. ;)
