Is there any program out there that can remove vocals from a track to create an instrumental track? Or vice-versa and creating an accapella?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. |

I can just as easily separate the ingredients in a cake after having baked it.
Had you an instrumental + vocal track, with no changes except the presence of vocals, then you'd have something. |

I had I winamp plugin once that did some sort of voice removal... Don't know the name of the plugin anymore
Doesn't really matter cos it was crap anyway. |

impossible? no. Virtually Fricking Impossible? yes.
You can do it, it's just that you would be have go through wave per wave in the spectrum. While haven't done it in music, i had to do before in audio voice recordings with there is ALOT of static. (don't ask)Finding each eact freq wavelength and deleting it so that it interfere with the rest. Painstaking process. Regardless it's the same concept. It takes a very long time where it's not worth it all. No winamp plugin going to help you there :p |

| there is a way of isolating vocals in a track, but you have to have the instrumental version. simply use a wave editor to invert the instrumental, and sync it over the top of the track with vocals. all that should (theoretically) be left are the vocals. its very hit-and-miss, but i could post some samples if anyone is interested. |
