I always thought Dj'ing was about playing the tracks you've selected yourself...

those are great. i have added a lot of those vinyls to my wishlist. thanks guys. anymore would be spectacular. i dont care if they arent high energy, but if they are just tracks you always dance to or just songs you love lemme know
djbruuen
most of those are good tunes...but why are you telling him all the older tunes?? personally i love hearing the older tunes...but i think he should start out with a fresh selection and not just older hits...

i finally have the bare minimum to start DJing and i want some ideas for some real high energy tracks. i dont care what genre of EDM as long as they kick ass. i need to build up some good vinyl collection so if you have a song in mind that would just kick total ass let me know. i dont care how hard it is to mix, ill learn, and i like a challenge.

Hey man..
I suggest that you get warm-up tunes first as someone else had suggested too. In your first gig its more important to use whatever mixing talents you have to create a smooth blend of tracks...a journey...start with warm-up tracks and then gradially step up to high-nrg tracks and finish with a bang. This always works best from my experience and I'm sure others will agree as well.

Here are some tracks that i reccomend:
Initial part of set
1) Hidden Logic - Time(Envio Remix) - GOOD set starter

2) Sarah Mclachlan - World On Fire(Junkie XL Remix) - another good set starter

3) Rico Soarez - TV Dinner

4) Above and Beyond - No One On Earth(Sonorous Remix+San Francisco Remix+Smith and Pledger Remix)(I have started set with Sonorous remix..drops well)

5) Menno De Jong - Guanxi(Original good for set starting...Super 8 remix goes nicely somewhere in the middle)

Mid-set tracks(good transitions..)
1) Sundawner - Krystal Dreams
2) Oliver Shine - Southstar
3) Rusch and Murray - Promise(Ronski Speed Remix)
4) Re:Locate - Typhoon
5) Matt Silver Vs. Tony Burt - Waimea(Alex M.O.R.P.H Remix)
6) Randy Katana - In Silence(Salina's Summer Remix)..my favorite :)
7) Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia 2004(Mesh and Ferry Remixes)

Now for what you wanted... :D

Hi-Nrg Tracks(towards the end of your set)
1) Signum - Timelord
2) Gareth Emery and Jon O' Bir - Escapade
3) Ozone - Rock(Alex M.O.R.P.H Mix)
4) Woodshokk -Tulips and Choclate(G&M Project Mix)
5) Sandra Flynn - Brightness(Nu-Nrg Remix)
6) Filo and Peri - Juicy 2004(Marc Van Linden Remix)
7) The Mystery - Fever
8) Thomas Datt - 2v2(John Askew Remix)
9) Armin VS M.I.K.E - Intruder(PPTP=Pure Peak Time Power...ONLY play this loud..mwahah)..
10) Lightscape - Inner Warmth(Phynn's Overheated Mix)

Ah well..so many more I want to post...but too lazy right now :p
This should get you started though.

Cheers
