View this Thread in Original format Beat_Chemist I used to be the proud owner of a pair of Vestax PDX-2000s but UPS ed em up and now they are cutting me a phatty 2300 dollar insurence check which is def. more than what the was worth. Oh well... To the point I'm not sure if I shuold go for the vestax again but then again technics are the only other decks I've played on. Any reccomendations? I have it narrowed down to.... Vestax Pdx-2000 $349 Technics sl-1200 $300 Numark ttx $300 Denon DP-DJ151 $300 As you can see cost really isn't a factor minus the vestax. So based on that which would you get and why? MrSquirrel This is a DJ Booth question...should be moved there by a mod. Go with two BRAND NEW Technics SL1200 s. And you probably want the M5G's since it is the newest revision. No point in buying used if you have the money. My used techs (while I love them) have had some problems and I could have bought a new one for the price that I paid to buy and am paying to fix the one that is currently in the shop. You could get a pair of techs, a pair of pretty nice cdj's, and a really good mixer for 2300 bucks man. Go into a guitar center I bet with that much gear they would give you a sweet deal.
