word.. korean parents are usually very strict and the 'expectation' they have is that you grow up and become succesful especially by being a doctor... i remember when i was very young i used to hear that all the time... 'you gotta grow up to be a doctor or a lawyer...' even then i really had no interest in those 2 professions.. i told them 'no i dont wanna be a doctor.. i wanna grow up to be an artist...[i always drew when i was a kid..]'. my mom's really cool about what i do tho.. she tries to support me even tho she doesnt fully understand the art of it all.. im greatful for that at least... if you look around tho its not just korean parents with their fascinations with doctors, alot of Indian parents are that way too.. how many Indian doctors do you see ?? they are everywhere[not that its a bad thing...]

:D

I don't think my parents care if I marry a doctor or not. Actually if they had their way I would be an old spinster living with them till I die. :nervous:
