bic it.

As for transplants, they go for about 5K. The only problem is, is that on average, a man has about 12k donor hairs not always enough to get a full head. if you continue balding, you dont have an option of shaving cuz you'll have scars on your head.

The future of transplants:

Researchers are now able to clone mice hair. In about 5 years, with 1 hair you could make multiple hairs (roots) to be transplanted. Im sure it will cost large though.

Well there's "medicine" that supposedly grows your hair back...but it's never been ACTUALLY proven. On the other hand I saw hair grow back on a 70+ year old man who's been bald for a long time...wild stuff :thepirate

The problem in North America at least is that you can pee in a bottle, put a lable on it that says it grows hair, and sell it. If you think that these products are strictly regulated then you are being seriously mislead. My mom works in the skincare industry as a product development manager and some of the stuff she tells me just makes me shake.

that is discusting :nervous: but it is also those prescription only ones, which then is passed by the government... they should be quite safe... don't remember the names of it but my mother talked about it when it came out (she is in the drug industry). Propesia or something? anyway i guess there are more... but i don't honestly know if it is worth it, pay a lot of money for the rest of your life, just to get your hair left...

Propecia (Finasteride) is good.

http://propecia.com

9 of 10 men on PROPECIA had visible results (either regrowth of hair, 48%, or no further hair loss, 42%) vs 25% on placebo (sugar pill), according to an assessment of photographs by an independent panel of dermatologists.

2 of 3 men on PROPECIA regrew hair, as measured by hair count. All the men in the study who were not taking PROPECIA lost hair.

A majority of men on PROPECIA were rated as improved by doctors—77% vs 15% with placebo.

A majority of men on PROPECIA reported their bald spot getting smaller, their hair loss slowing down, and the appearence of their hair improving.
