Adam Beyer & Jesper Dahlback - Number In Between / Redemption

Smooth new two-tracker from two Swedes. The a-side does the business, a thumping, groovy, FX-laden floorfiller that would surely work in either a trance or techno set. Don't miss this one... the other track, Redemption, goes a different direction with retro, electro-inspired synths and quirky percussion. Less obvious, but perhaps equally effective as Number In Between given the right circumstance.
One of the better techno releases I've stumbled on this year, check Juno for samples. :) |

It's quite good.
A bit boring if the truth be told, but it would do a job in a set. It kinda reminds me of a lot of the stuff slam released a few years ago on soma. |

| If Starglider recommends something, it's bound to be good! |

Not my cup of tea, Beyer has been good this year (Mr. Sliff - The riff is nice!) but this just doesn't do it for me.
But I must say that these tracks should have a big appeal to lots of DJs, I think both are especially suited for outdoor festival play.
It's not going to be in my crate though. |
