updates = switched off, so you cant add an alias right now.
Updates will be switched on at the end of this month so I'm told :) |

OK, so here's my question:
What exactly is a "Draft Release"? I submitted this several months back and corrected several errors which the mods told me to do. It then sat as "Pending" for ages and is now a "Draft".
Now it says "My Releases which are not Pending and not Accepted into Discogs". I can only assume that a "Draft Release" is something that is not accepted, and if so I'd like to know why. I corrected all the errors I was told and it is a real release:

Also, a little improvement suggestion would be to give the mods the power to correct mistakes if the user makes one. Say that somebody submits a release with the tracks in an incorrect format, the mods should be able to correct that and put it right, rather than telling the user to correct it themselves and resubmitting, which takes a lot of time.
Thanks. :) |

Aloep, first of all, who is that chick in your sig? OH MY GODDDDD! (Copyright: Arturo)
Secondly, the reason why it hasnt been added is because its been sat in your own Drafts forever, you need to go to "my discogs" then "drafts" click the link to view it then click "preview" and click "submit" and voila its in the pending queue!
:)
I will suggest your excellent idea on the discogs mod forum! :) |

It's Maria Ford, a lovely and underappreciated 90's B-movie actress. :)
Thanks, just resubmitted it there. |

Amen to that! I assumed that did not even have to be asked but rather that there was some blatent answer as to why it is indeed like that. But if it has just been overlooked all this time I'm happy you at least brought it up aloep!

I don't think it's a good idea - the way it is now, you learn from your mistakes - if the mods should change everything, first of all it would take longer time for them to mod, second of all there are tons of submitters who don't know the system at all, and they wouldn't learn from the mistakes they made. |
