This is nothing more than a licensed compilation of PvD Remixes. Look at the series it's part of, the first in it was a Paul Oakenfold one. So you can all stop the further continuing of the PvD hate bandwaggon because it's getting old. When the chance for him comes to release a rework / edit then he does.
The decision on whether a certain track can be released or not isn't always going to be down to PvD and Vandit. It's down to labels that own the rights to these tracks. Take Born Slippy for example; they've tried very hard on numerous occassions to get permission to release this track on a number of format's, including TPOD. But JBO just won't budge. Believe it or not they do listen to their fans. Autumn was released on TPOD largely due to the many many requests from fans, and you have to remember not everyone listens to vinyl so the fact that people could listen to this on CD was a big thing.
I'll use another example. Emerge; again another track that was not released because of the original artist. Fischerspooner doesn't like dance music and therefore PvD's remix has no chance of ever being released. He also wouldn't allow some of the other more "trancey" remixes to be released either, such as Junkie XL's I believe.
I hope you see what i'm getting at. When he can, his unreleased material will be released, but you have to remebmer that when they're not, there is a reason for it. On another note, there is going to be another relesae of Reflections called "Re Reflections." This will be remixed tracks on Reflections plus Wir Sind Wir as far as I am aware. |

yeah, it's revolt with another bassline over it, samples from for an angel thrown sporadically, and some effects. nothing that hard to accomplish if you think about it. |

Paul Van Dyk is a crap remixer, and he's even a worse editer. The only remix worth mentioning is Cream. |
it says a lot about your taste if you think the only good PvD remix is Cream  |

Reflections ? a career ender?
me, fair play, he tried to be experimental and imo (being a pvd fan) he failed very badly...but in no way is it a career ender...he still makes and plays some of the most dancefloor destroying music out there...I guess some people just wanted another album full of dance tracks such as OTAB.
and as for making all those re-edits with just sticking a drum over them........what total ignorant . |
