hi folks,
just back from a meeting with the other 200 odd students / interms / co-ops in Intel Ireland, and there are some sad immature people out there.
everybody wants to say something stupid and get noticed!
grow up people! not in primary school anymore!

anyway, what's wrong with trying to get noticed? i mean...its tough competition out there. now if you're saying something stupid then that's just a waste of everyone's time, but really...if you don't do that kinda stuff...you're out of luck |

hahah...yeah...just about right where i live... interestingly enough, i think i'm not one of the stupid ones... but in comparison to other people and comparing my choices and decisions, i always seem to make out right in the end, where as other people just cant manage their life sometimes

That's what's nice about my job...I'm just a number. I do my job and go home. If someone wants to stand out, but they have lower seniority....big deal...I'm still senior to them and Always will be. Just like I will always be junior to those ahead of me....thus, once the competition of trying to get hired on is over, there is no point of having a chest and going under the table to move up the ladder ....uhm:whip: :whip: ...I mean standing out and trying to get attention.

assuming the boss is smart enuff to know better and that's pretty big asumption. The higher up the corporate ladder the better bullter you are. More likely the boss will say to himself there's management material. Now where's that worthless palm pilot, its dam near impossible to write with a ball point pen. |
