MARTIN ROTH & FRANK ELLRICH - The Orange Theme
2 new remixes of this classic tune, a little similar to Tiesto's Adagio For Strings but I like it anyway. The Moonman Rmx will always be my fave tho.:D |

I can't stand the 2004 remakes. IMO they're awful. No new mixes can top Solar Stone and Man With No Name mixes for me. Moonman's mix is 3rd in my charts.

btw on the other thread there was a mention of a Push remix what label was this released on I have the id-t/free fall release with 4 mixes but this isn't on there? |

Well, Push Mix has been released on many labels (Bonzai Trance Progressive, Club Culture, Insolent Tracks, Arcade America,..) but it isn't anything special, quite a disappointing remix from Mike.

| This is a nice harder touch to the track. I prefer the Ellrich mix as opposed to the other one. There are too many quality remixes of this track to begin with and I like the harder touch that this one has which I had only seen in the Blue Alphabet remix. |

If I'm not mistaken, there's also The Orange Theme (RMX) (8:29) from the Hypermetrical CD, which is a remix done by Cygnus X I presume. And I don't think the Transic mix was released professionally, but I may be wrong. :) |

i prefer the older mixes...all of them are in wicked. just recently heard the Martin Roth mix and imo it was a pretty good effort by him..he did make it a little harder and it still sounds pretty good compared to some other 2004 remakes, like The World 2004.
a little off topic but, Blue Alphabet - Musical Crime Killers is wicked :) |

Hmm I have it labeled as Blue Alphabet mix :conf: All I know is it's a harder version of the track, and at least a few years old. |

Yes yes, you're right. I even have the album but didn't remember Cygnus X's alternate version on it. Will add it to the list. :rolleyes:
And for the Transic mix, it came out only on a few whites nothing more.
For the "Blue Alphabet Remix", as far as i know, they have remixed the track but under the Lawnmower Man guise. So it's mislabeled even if the artists are the same. |
