Pose Nude in Buffalo
for an Installation by Artist Spencer Tunick
It is with great pleasure that the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, in collaboration with the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation, brings one of the most intriguing and talked about contemporary artists to Buffalo. Artist Spencer Tunick will be doing an installation at the Buffalo Central Terminal on Sunday, August 15, 2004, and you can take advantage of this rare and unique opportunity to be a part of his work by signing up to pose nude. You will only be nude for a short period of time. In exchange for posing, you will receive a print of the event by the artist. $20 says that some clown signs up and gets past the (hopefully) half-decent screening process...and breaks the silence of the installation piece when he slaps the ass of the person in front of him :D
to answer the question...maybe. That piece looks interesting...but...I'm probably too shy, haha.
hhhmmmmm...ratio of particpants who are into the art to people who are simply exhibitionists? ;) |

hee hee.
getting naked is one thing but I really think that with this type of work you aren't going to be looked at all. I mean people that go to these things aren't going to go there and gawk. They are going to be so worried about everyone else looking at them that they aren't even going to look around. I would keep my eyes closed and I think a lot of others would too. |
