I think he used his own work to promote himself and not others. Most people don't know what trance is about and might think it's strange to play songs that are not your own. |

| i'm pretty sure the olympics want him to play specifically HIS tracks. think about this, singers in olympics have to sing THEIR OWN songs. so it is logical that tiesto played HIS OWN music. they hired tiesto, they didn't hire trance as a whole. remember that. |

What an auto publicity....
Its ok for me that likes him but im sure many people will see it badly.
Maybe its also a way to not favorise any other artist coz it would be sure be a BIG plubicity for any artist in the playlist ...and maybe he had many asks from artists and he didnt want to be unfair
